Hey, kids! Alias here, reminding you to play it safe - do not feed the wildlife!
Remember to steer clear of the downtown DC area - the super mutants seem to be kidnapping more dudes than usual and hauling them off to God knows where. Unless you want to be mutie chow (or unless you have enough shotgun shells to blow a decent amount of heads), watch your back.
We now return to our usual broadcast. Ah, GNR, bringing you the same music for over fifty years!
All information of any remote significance can be found here. This includes, but is not restricted to: rules, updates, and events. For board-specific information, check under the survival guide.
This handbook is a must-have for anyone looking to start a life in the DC Wasteland. Inside is all of the need-to-know regarding everything from dealing with raiders to setting up shop.
Though the world has been left in ruin, surprisingly there are still computers connected to the network. They are only able to connect to other terminals on the East Coast, but still, it's a great way to talk to others.
Though terminals are a great way of keeping in contact with friends and loved ones (if you're fortunate enough to have such people), not everyone is in posession of a working computer. What's a survivor to do? Why, write letters, of course! Journals are to be placed here, too.
Before the war, the District of Columbia was covered in lush foliage. Now, the area has become a veritable wasteland, complete with sweltering heat. The only foliage left is a few weeds and the charred remains of trees.
Megaton is a odd-looking settlement built in the crater surrounding an undetonated atomic bomb. All of the buildings are constructed out of parts of air planes, buses, and other means of transportation.
Once a tourist attraction, Little Lamplight is a cavern-turned-settlement, inhabited only by children. They keep a tight reign on who goes in and out of the main gate, mostly because they are always being beseiged by slavers and super mutants.
Rivet City is built in the bowels of a beached aircraft carrier. Because of the vessel's past military use, the carrier's hull is made to protect against weapons such as missles, making it one of the safest communities in the DC area.
Evergreen Mills used to be an old shipping factory that loaded goods onto trains for dispersal around the country. Now it just serves as a home for the raiders.
Paradise Falls is often considered the worst place in the entire Wasteland because of its reputation as a hub for slavery. Whether you're looking to get into the trade or buy yourself a 'friend', Paradise Falls is the place to go.
Aside from the Enclave, GNR boasts the only other radio station to broadcast to the entire DC area. The station is frequently under attack from super mutants, but the Brotherhood of Steel has made an arrangement to provide protection to GNR in exchange for shelter.
The defenders of the wastes aptly made their base in the remains of the Pentagon. Above ground there isn't much building left, but all of the lower levels are still intact.
Raven Rock is the main base of operations for the Enclave. Though it may not look it on the outside, underground Raven Rock is a large, sprawling system consisting of sectors for everything from archives to sleeping quarters.
This is where the staff discusses things to make the board more interesting such as mini-plots and updates and the like. It's all top secret, hush hush - until we set it in motion, that is.

What am I up to? Reviving the board, of course! I didn't reopen it so it could die again; I'm advertising like crazy over here.
